“WATERCOLORS CAN BE FUN” TECHNIQUES IN WATERCOLORS

WATERCOLOR ART CLASSES ARE HELD IN THE SPRING & FALL:

Classes are 3 hours per week one day per week (Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday) for 6 weeks. Mondays, 1:00-4:00 p.m. Wednesdays, 6-9:00 p.m. Thursdays, 1:00-4:00 p.m. Other classes offered by special arrangement

Introduction: This course is designed to make watercolor painting fun! You will discover that you need not be talented or know how to draw in order to be creative.

You will learn to appreciate the world around you! You will begin to see things around you in a new way, with NEW INSIGHTS, THROUGH AN ARTIST’S EYES!!

Emphasis will be on techniques—tricks will be taught and the results will be frameable paintings that belie the fact that people with little or no training did them.

Class members will be expected to bring their own materials. Paper may be purchased at cost from the instructor. Some supplies may be borrowed/loaned.

Class members may make art supply orders as a group for discounts.

Handouts pertaining to the lessons will be distributed. Suggested list of materials will be provided. The fee is $100.00/class semester
